Y2K Reloaded is a music event experience and brand built around the electronic sounds of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Our goal is to revive the feeling this music brought to the world, and to showcase it to the new generations as a living, active proposition since these genres never stopped being relevant, they just stopped being loud.
The visual and musical aspect of this concept seeks to elicit specific feeling back into the dancefloor, which is why we have developed a curated selection of house, progressive, trance, breakbeat, and ethno-lounge tunes that once forged a whole generation.

Aesthetics and Music
The Y2K visual culture is taking over now: leathered outfits, green and blue lighting. But the sound that came with the aesthetic is still absent from the places and events claiming this identity. Y2K Reloaded is the bridge: music and the environment, together. Same room. Same vibe.

Our concept is mainly defined by several distinct but related genres: Trance, Progressive House & Trance, Lounge and Breakbeat. Each brings its own emotional register, capable of moving a room in a completely different way.

Exotic textures, hypnotic loops, and a deep unhurried groove. The sound that opens the night drawing people in before they even realise they’ve arrived.

Syncopated, cerebral, physical, acid. The raw, contagious, vibing sound of electronic music that prepares people for what’s next.

The bridge between the groovy and the melodic. Warm, driving, and endlessly building. We heat the room up slowly until the next genre takes it further.

Long builds and euphoric, melodic peaks. The addictive feeling of something enormous arriving slowly and then all at once.
The ambience
Y2K Reloaded experiences are designed environments. The visual world of the late 90s and early 2000s (the neon colors, the early-digital textures, the sense of a future that was being imagined in real time) becomes the architecture of the night.
We work with venues as collaborators in world-building: The lighting is one more part of the setlist. Every element of the physical space is considered in relation to the sound.
This is what separates us from a themed night or a simple nostalgia party: the environment and the music are designed together, from the beginning, as a single experience.
the tide is turning
The cultural conditions have never been better: The generation that grew up with this music is now old enough to fund a night out and young enough to still hit the dancefloor. The younger generations are discovering the visual world of that era through social media and is actively hungry for the music that came with it.
Meanwhile, mainstream club culture is fragmented: the mega-festival model is losing steam and audiences are now increasingly drawn to more curated, intentional, designed experiences. The appetite for something specific, something with a genuine point of view, has never been higher.
So this music now sits in a fascinating position: associated with a moment of genuine cultural excitement, largely absent from current programming, and attached to a visual aesthetic that is actively trending. The gap between what people are seeing and what they’re hearing is exactly the space we want to fill with Y2K Reloaded.

Y2K Reloaded is a brand experience, not a one-off event. We have crafted a long-term vision with a recognizable identity: a name that means something specific when people hear it, attached to a consistent quality of experience across different cities, venues, and formats.
We not only express the experience through events, we have an online presence that builds the world before the gigs happen. A visual archive, an original voice, and most importantly, a community of people who share a specific relationship to this music.
The brand is the music, the room, and the people in it. Y2K Reloaded is the framework that holds those three things together and makes them repeatable, scalable, and unmistakable.

Despite this project being born in Italy we don’t limit to one country. Our team is spread across Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Each one rooted in their local scene, each one carrying the same frequency.
Different rooms, different crowds but one sound.
