Biography

It all started in Mérida, Venezuela, sometime around 2011. A young Ahiezer is putting together trance nights at Midway and Ibiza Bar, convinced that the right music in the right room can have a profound effect on people. That conviction never really went away. It just found new forms.

Over the years he has built a quiet but consistent body of work across two production aliases: As Agent 47 he lives in the space where trance gets melodic and groovy. Some of his releases are part of Only Trance Records' discography, with remixes for Undernova, Outer Pulse and Artur Salizar's Francaiba. He also has other original productions such as Eightrance and Violent Virus, a deep house collaboration with Italian singer Malita Choul.

Under his alias IEZR the tempo drops entirely: ambient, cinematic, the kind of music that doesn't need a dancefloor to mean something.

However, some of his most enduring work has come through Algiz, the project he shares with the duo Outer Pulse. Together they've released Leaves On The Moorland, Until The Last Moment on Abora Olé Records, and Eau Rouge on TPT Records, alongside a remix of Aura Qualic's Epsilia present in Only Trance Records. The project has found its way into compilations including Progressive Trance Selections 11, Progressive Trance Selections 13, Progressive Trance Essentials 04, and Uplifting Only: Fan Favorites. A small but honest footprint in a genre that doesn't hand those things out easily.

Y2K Reloaded is his latest chapter. Based in Rome and built around the electronic sounds of the late 90s and early 2000s, it's Ahiezer's way of creating the events he always wanted to go: progressive trance, breakbeat, house, and more, in rooms designed to hold them properly. Less of a nostalgia project, more of an argument that this music never should have left the dancefloor in the first place.
