His artistic journey began early, driven by a deep curiosity for sound design, composition, and the emotional impact of music.

His work spans bass house and contemporary electronic music, often characterized by energetic rhythms, detailed sound textures, and a strong sense of identity. Beyond music production, he has also been involved in audiovisual projects, expanding his artistic expression into visual and digital domains.

Earlier in his career, under the alias Outer Pulse alongside his brother, he gained recognition within the trance scene, achieving releases and support from respected labels such as Black Hole Recordings, Pure Trance, Only Trance Records, FSOE (Future Sound of Egypt), and Brain Mapping Recordings, among others. This period established his presence in the international electronic music circuit and helped shape his artistic foundation.

Throughout his artistic evolution, he has worked under multiple aliases, each representing a distinct creative phase. He further explored trance music as Algiz, a duo project with Agent 47. On the other hand, under Slip2Nap, he expanded into a broader creative identity that included house music production, cinematic compositions for theater plays and documentaries, and visual work. More recently, he has been developing his current artistic vision under the name Joan Michel, focusing on a cohesive direction within electronic music.

Currently based in Barcelona, he continues to refine his sound, explore new directions in electronic music, and develop a consistent artistic presence, aiming to connect with a global audience through both music and visual storytelling.
